Andy's Recommendation of the week :

Mark Radcliffe & Stuart Maconie - BBC Radio 2, Weeknight Evenings

Image © BBC Online

BBC Radio 2 has transformed its programming in recent years to become the largest radio station in the UK and attract a huge age range of listeners.

Recently however the station has come under fire for it's 7pm onward slot which traditionally included less mainstream content including country, jazz, organ music, etc.

Although there should be a medium for smaller audience programming on the BBC I don't think it should be on Radio 2.

Broadcasting stalwarts Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie have teamed up 8pm - 10pm every weeknight broadcasting an evening show from Manchester featuring the best music, live music and sessions.
