Andy's Recommendation of the week :

The Traveling Wilburys - Collectors Edition

Forget Electronic, this has to be the World's best supergroup. Combining the amazing talents of George Harrison, Jeff Lynne (ELO), Tom Petty, Roy Orbison and Bob Dylan, the Wilbury's only got to 21 in the UK music charts but will forever provide a legacy to music. A new collection of the Wilbury's will soon be available which includes 2 CDs and a DVD.

Len's Recommendation of the week :

7 Ages of Rock – 4.Blank Generation (Punk 1973-1980)

This week’s film charts the emergence of the movement that was to change rock forever. Punk was born in London and New York in the mid-seventies as a grass roots reaction to the bloated state of music in this period.
The program tells the story of punk from The Ramones first gig at CBGBs in 1974 to the implosion of the Sex Pistols in 1978.
It features classic tracks from The Ramones (Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue) The Sex Pistols (Anarchy in the UK) The Clash (London Calling)(White Man In Hammersmith Palais) and The Damned (New Rose)
