| Richard Hawley - Lady's Bridge Born in 1967 in Sheffield, Hawley has released five albums since 2000. Very proud of his working class upbringing, Hawley sings very much in his own accent. He sounds a bit like Morressey only much much less depressing. Hawley's latest album Lady's bridge features a number of great ballads and soulful songs including the hit single Tonight the streets are ours (2007). War. The novel is essentially a mockumentary in book form. A journalist
is interviewing survivors of the war against the undead and their
very personal accounts reveal an aspect of the larger plot. The
story mixes elements of science fiction, horror, techno-thriller
and satire. Influences include “The War of the Worlds”
