Andy's Recommendation of the week :

Run Fat Boy Run

Latest film from the Simon Pegg Camp in Cinema's from September 7th also staring Dylan Moran and Hand Azaria and Directed by friends star David Schwimmer.

The film tells the story of Dennis (Simon Pegg) who got cold feet and ran from the alter at his wedding and has been running every since. Dennis decides to enter a marathon to get back with Libby (Thandie Newton) but finds out just how much like hard work it is.

A transantlantic cast and wonderful acting from comedy stalwarts like Pegg and Moran will make this an instant box office hit.

Len's Recommendation of the week :

HARD-FI
ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST

This is the second album from the Staines based band. For me a lot of the appeal of Hard-Fi lies in their down to earth image. Fronted by Richard Archer you get the impression that they are just ordinary middle England lads trying to make their way through life. Their last album took a look at hard issues such as Iraq, debt and crime and set these lyrics to floor-filling tunes. They cross genres, fusing indie-rock with dance influences and with lyrics inspired by the social-realism of post punk bands like The Jam and Gang of Four.
Once Upon a Time in the West was released on Monday 3rd September 2007.

Marvel – Strange Thing

Marvel know their pop history and aren't afraid to wash their hands in it. They are pop craftsmen in the classic sense and are masters of their trade. With plenty of sing-a-long bits, Marvel carries the stylized swagger of their influences. Blue collar rock n roll from Los Angeles.

Adrina Thorpe - Sorry

On Adrina Thorpe's debut album "elusive," delicate piano melodies & lush vocals weave in & out of each other, drifting amid the punchy bass & drum lines. First pressing almost sold out.

Stacie Rose - Consider Me

She’s a jersey girl, who, not surprisingly gigs regularly in and around NYC. “Leaning toward the Suzanne Vega folkie side of Roseanne Cash country or vice versa…”-The Village (More mature version of Avril Lavigne…”-Womanrock)

Lockdown - Cry Baby

LOCKDOWN hail from North West England and are made up of members Rob, Jo, Estelle, Chris and Nicola. Most of the group met at Preston College of Dance where they were studying professional dance.

In 2002 Chris and Rob were invited to join a new boyband which toured with the likes of Westlife, Liberty X
