Flight of the Concords
BBC Four - Tuesdays 9.30
New to the UK this week, HBO series Flight of the Concords follows
the life of two men from New Zealand trying to make a name for
themselves in New York City.
The parody band is made up of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement
who describe their outfit as guitar-based, digi-bongo, acapella-rap-funk-comedy
folk duo produce hits including Albi the Racist Dragon, Jenny
and Business Time.
The series Launched on US channel HBO in the United States in
June 2007 and these 12 episodes will now be aired on BBC Four
over the next three months.
David Icke is an English writer and public speaker who since
1990 has been on a mission to find out who the secret rulers of
the world are. A highly controversial figure his views have been
described as “ New Age conspiracism “ His argument
is that the world is run by a global elite whom he identifies
as the infamous Illuminati. Ickes 1999 book The Biggest Secret
alleged that the Illuminati are a race of reptilian humanoids
known as the Babylonian Brotherhood . Mad or genius ? Check out

I just love this clip from ITV's X Factor. Young
Antony from Liverpool (or Tight-O to his friends) is a cocky young
man who you expect is setup for a massive fall but just wait until
he starts to sing.
