Andy's Recommendation of the week :

Exit Music
Ian Rankin

Supposedly the last of the Rebus series, exit music sees the grumpy Scottish detective investigate his last case, just ten days before retirement.

Rankin was writing the Novel around a year ago when the poison russian spy scandal was in the press however he stresses that the storyline of a murder or a russian dissident was strictly coincidental.

Another amazing Novel from in my view one of Britain's top Crime writers.

Len's Recommendation of the week :

IN RAINBOWS

In Rainbows is the 7th Studio album by Radiohead. It is scheduled to be released as a digital download on from inrainbows.com on 10th October. Uniquely the price of the download is left up the buyer. This is the first time an album by a major artist has been released like this.

Belfast Floats in the Clouds

This amazing photograph was taken this morning (Wednesday) by local digital artist Ken Lucas. The photo shows a blanket of fog engulf the city of Belfast with only the cranes of the shipyard appearing above the clouds.

The Chronicles - Toronto to Miami

"Billy Idol meets Iggy Pop-good vibe, great lyrics" Billboard Mag. "Like Tragiclly Hip and the Doors" Spacejunkies Mag. Songwriters Joe and Jesse Chisholm (father/son) are joined by top Toronto musicians Tim Cassidy and Andre Skinner to create tunes loved live and at College and Internet radio.

Adama - Limbo

Describing Adama's style creates interesting thoughts within those who try to do so. Adama's rich, velvet voice brings to mind visions of Sade, Seal and Dido. The music, electronica by nature, is strong with pop-appeal, inviting the word-of-mouth genre/term, electro-pop, for company.

Marvel – Strange Thing

Marvel know their pop history and aren't afraid to wash their hands in it. They are pop craftsmen in the classic sense and are masters of their trade. With plenty of sing-a-long bits, Marvel carries the stylized swagger of their influences. Blue collar rock n roll from Los Angeles.
