| Lead Balloon Jack Dee's amazing television series Lead Balloon returned for another series last week and as always its amazing. Wonderfully written by Dee and Pete Sinclair, Lead Balloon tells the tail Rick Spleen, a successful but world-weary stand-up comedian who spends too much of his time hosting corporate events and appearing on panel shows. The second series of Lead Balloon gets its airing on BBC TWO intead of BBC FOUR, possibly an indication of the popularity of the first series. Watch out for the wonderful character eastern european cleaner Magda (Anna Crilly), shes not very Heppy. Paul Weller provides the theme tune with "One Way Road" from his Studio 150 Album. |
