Curb your Enthusiasm

This is a wonderful show that i've just discovered telling the story of the strange life of Seinfeld Co-Creator Larry David. Each half-hour episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm features verité-style footage of David (playing himself) at home, at work and around town, as he gets into predicaments with fictional and real-life personalities.

Totally wonderful stuff.

RESCUE DAWN

Written and directed by acclaimed German director Werner Herzog Rescue Dawn is based on his 1997 documentary Little Dieter needs to fly. The film follows the true story of German born US Navy pilot Dieter Dengler who is shot down over Laos at the beginning of the Vietnam war. Captured by Communist forces he survives horrific physical and psychological torture at the hands of prison camp guards before mounting an escape. Herzog has created a vivid portrayal of POW endurance in a jungle hell.
