Andy's Recommendation of the week :

Big Nothing

Set in Oregon and starring David Schwimmer and Simon Pegg as a couple of hapless call centre employees in need of some serious cash, the plot of the movie basically involves them deciding to blackmail a Porn addicted Priest who's records they find on the company database.

The idea doesn't quite go to plan and the body count gets pretty big. This great Black Comedy was released in the UK in 2006 but didn't have a very big distribution, probably a factor was the small £3,000,000 budget, however this is one of the best black comedies i've seen in a long time.

The movie was funded by the Isle of Man and Wales film boards and external locations were actually shot on the Isle of Man as well as British Columbia.

Worth it just for Peggs great American Accent.

Len's Recommendation of the week :

THE PUB LANDLORDS BOOK OF BRITISH COMMON SENSE

This book is essential reading for any British male making his way through life in the early 21st century. In it Al Murray offers common sense solutions to common sense problems. Murray reveals the hidden truth on the Honourable Order of Publicans, there is a test to find if you have got British Thinking, a drinking game based on the plot of Where Eagles Dare and a checklist to see if your local is a wine bar.
The pub landlord isn’t afraid to tackle the big questions like Love & Marriage (of particular interest to me, its been a year!) and Religion.
The Pub Landlord’s Book of British Common Sense is available at all good bookshops now.
